Welcome to Luthadel Elementary School Library
Nurturing imagination and resourcefulness
Our mission at The Luthadel Elementary School Library is to encourage each generation that enters its walls to find readily available and accessible knowledge, resources, community, and information.
“A library is infinity under a roof.” Gail Carson Levine
“The library was a doorway to freedom, to free thought. When you’re being taught, “you can’t, you can’t, you can’t” … the library says, “you can, you can, you can.” And I did.” Patricia McKissack
“Libraries store the energy that fuels the imagination. They open up windows to the world and inspire us to explore and achieve, and contribute to improving our quality of life. Libraries change lives for the better.” Sydney Sheldon
About Our School
Luthadel Elementary School was founded in 2006. What began as a small overflow public school became one of the highest ranked in the state! Our elementary school was founded on the principals of imagination and education for all. We strive to promote creativity while preparing our students for middle and high school, and then, beyond! The library was first staffed by only one librarian with a small collection of 300 books. We now have a staff of 3 librarians and over 1,000 books.
